Straight reconditioned stairlifts are usually available from stock and can often be installed within a few days. Curved reconditioned stairlifts need a new made-to-measure rail, which typically takes 3 to 5 weeks to manufacture. Once the rail arrives, installation takes around 2 to 3 hours for a straight model and 3 to 6 hours for a curved one.

Yes. Our reconditioned stairlifts go through the same rigorous testing and safety checks as new models. Any worn parts are replaced during the reconditioning process. Yes. We offer reconditioned curved stairlifts as well as straight ones. Because curved staircases are all different, a new made-to-measure rail is configured to your exact staircase even when the stairlift unit itself is reconditioned. Our surveyor will visit your home to measure up and confirm the best option.

If you have a long-term or permanent health condition affecting your mobility, you will normally qualify for VAT exemption on a reconditioned stairlift, just as you would on a new one. We will confirm your eligibility and handle the paperwork as part of your order.  All prices contained on our website do not show VAT.

You can extend your cover with one of our maintenance contracts, which include annual servicing and continued access to our 24/7 engineer call-out service. We also carry out repairs on stairlifts we did not originally install, so you will always be able to get support from us regardless of your warranty status.
