We have a simple and easy five-step process to meeting your stairlift requirements.
You can watch our easy process video and read more about these five simple steps by selecting one of the options on the right side of this page.
Understanding your needs
You can feel completely safe having one of our advisors in your home, as we don’t employ sales people who pressure you, just friendly surveyors who adhere to the British Healthcare Trades Association Code of Practice code of ethics. For complete peace of mind we also DBS (formerly CRB) Check our employees too.
Made to measure solutions
We measure your stairs to determine the best stairlift specification to suit your needs. We take into account the number of steps, the layout of the stairs and height requirements. We will also take your measurements and assess your abilities to make sure that the stairlift is tailored for you and will meet your requirements exactly.
If there are any other pre-installation works to be done in order to have a lift fitted such as the installation of a power point, removal or replacement of a radiator or carpentry works we have a team of trusted sub-contractors and we can take the hassle out of organising this for you.
Confirming your order
Once you’ve chosen your stairlift, we will provide you with a written quotation confirming the price. Usually a stairlift can be zero rated for VAT, so that’s no VAT added to the price but we will check your eligibility and advise you on this. You can confirm your order in writing by completing the order section on our quotation and send it back to use along with your deposit. You can pay by Debit or Credit Card, cheque or cash.
Alternatively you can visit us at our showroom and our friendly team will be happy to assist you. We’ll then organise for your lift to be ordered and our contractors to complete any pre-installation works for you and confirm an installation date with you as quickly as possible.
Getting your Stairlift installed
Your stairlift will then be installed by our fully-qualified engineers, this normally takes around two hours for a basic model and five hours for more complicated stairlifts.
Once tested and ready, our engineer will give you a detailed demonstration on how to use your stairlift, making sure it is comfortable and meets your needs exactly. We understand sometimes it takes a little while to get the hang of it so we won’t leave until you’re confident you can ride it safely.
Our engineers are clean and tidy workers and they also carry their own vacuum cleaners, so other than the stairlift being on your stairs you wouldn’t know you’d had workmen in your home.
Service and Support
The service doesn’t stop once your stairlift is installed. We pride ourselves on our aftercare service to provide maintenance and servicing to keep your stairlift in prime working condition. Every new stairlift comes with a comprehensive warranty as standard which can be extended up to five years if you wish. For more details take a look at our 1Care Service Agreement.

Our Easy Process video text version:
Colin (Director): “We want to make sure we’ve got the right advisors going in, giving the right advice to suit the client. They’re all trained to do the right thing when they go into the client’s house, to take all the correct measurements. That makes it a little bit easier for us as well when we’re doing the quotation.”
Cindy (customer): “The best thing was they came here to my home, that was marvellous, and they assessed what I would need, they showed me a wonderful range, I was able to see all the different products, and it seemed as if they really knew what I needed and I felt very reassured by that.”
Colin: “We still want to go out and give that personal service whether it’s a straight or curved staircase, anything like that we want to go out and give the client the right assessment, the right application, everything for the stairs, and the right price. Once we’ve quoted a price we stick by that price as well.”
Cindy: “Once I’d decided which model I wanted I went along to the showroom and I saw them there and I was able to try it out, it was perfect. It seemed very easy to use, and they all showed me and I met the whole team and they were really, really nice. They said just arrange a convenient time for us to come and call and the girl from the office phoned and said they were coming and they arrived absolutely when they said they would. The fitter was a really nice young man.”
Cindy: “He explained everything to me. He sat me on the chair, got me belted-up. He showed me all the controls and we had a run together, it was really good. He showed me all the safety features and I felt absolutely reassured about the whole thing, because it is a bit nerve racking and you’re not sure that you’ll ever learn how to drive it, but he took me through it point by point beautifully.”
Cindy: “They were really, really, very kind, very careful, very courteous and I wouldn’t know they’d been here except I’ve got this wonderful stairlift and freedom to get up and down my own house.”
