Children In Need Update – Stairlift Races

1st Choice Stairlifts showed its spots for Children In Need this year, holding a Grand National Stairlift Race!
The staff donned jockey caps and shirts to compete in the first and only stairlift race in history. They took part in 3 races for straight stairlifts, curved stairlifts and finally an energy-filled relay to find out which team would be crowned champion.
Several other events were held to raise money, including Pin the chair on the stairlift and Guess the number of balloons in the through-floor lift. Together, we raised £205 for Children in Need and had a fantastic time!
Children In Need has had another successful year, once again breaking previous records for funds raised on the night, which totalled £26,332,334 – £8 million more than last year! Well done to everyone who contributed.
1st Choice Stairlifts have installed well over 2000 stairlifts all over the South-West, including Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Oxfordshire, Bristol and Berkshire and have built up a great reputation within the community for installing and maintaining high quality stairlifts.
1st Choice Stairlifts a wide range of straight stairlifts and curved stairlifts to help people get upstairs again. They now also install and maintain a wide range of Wheelchair lifts, such as through-floor lifts, vertical lifting platforms and step lifts.
